Tactile Universes

With Tactile Universes, Narcís Bosch proposes a sensorial and introspective immersion through a pictorial corpus that explores the boundaries between matter, energy, and perception. His work inhabits the threshold between abstraction and figuration, where forms, textures, and pigments converge to create dreamlike landscapes that evoke magma, the cosmos, or the depths of the sea: primordial territories that seem to emerge from a remote and universal origin.

The title of the exhibition directly appeals to the sensorial dimension of his painting, where color becomes living matter and the pictorial surface transforms into an almost organic, vibrant, tactile space. The compositions, of great visual intensity, invite a contemplation that goes beyond the optical, addressing intuition and instinct as well.

Narcís Bosch’s work is deeply rooted in a fascination with nature, the natural sciences, astronomy, and spirituality. This universe of influences translates into a visual language that reflects on the interconnection between the micro and the macro, between the individual and the universe, between matter and mystery.

He conceives artistic practice as a constant evolution, an open and living process, where research and transformation are fundamental. Each of his works is the fruit of this creative journey: a quest for the invisible essence that inhabits the natural world and an invitation to reconnect with what is subtle, ancestral, and essential within us.
